PANASONIC Lumix Digital Cameras Getting More Tech Savy

So what can an extreme outdoor person do to capture their monumental air or their memory of the top of their huge climb, or their first wave? Well, maybe not their first wave but the new Lumix TS3 is the electronic do-dad that you are looking for. So much so, when you decide to just go until the road runs out, you will have a GPS on hand to guide you back home. The rugged new Panasonic camera that can take a picture then figure out where you were when you took it. Although the Lumix TS2 wasn’t too shabby either, the T3 is built even tougher.  As mentioned before, it’s equipped with a geo-tagging ability for video and photos too. The multi-functioning camera also will give you a barometer, altimeter, and compass so you have no excuse to stay lost for too long.

It has a little LCD that’s just 2.7-inches, a 12-megapixel high-speed sensor and can shoot 20 pictures with a single click! You can take it for a good dive of 40 feet, it’s shockproof to around 6.6 feet, and you won’t be able to freeze it to 14 degrees Fahrenheit.

The lens is a 28mm wide-angle lens with a 4.6x internal zoom with the more “techy” people that want to see the hold list of things it does and for those that will use it more professionally. Panasonic equipped the camera with a Venus Engine FHD processor that can enable you to shoot high-speed, full HD movies at 3.7 frames per second.

Of course, the 3D Electronics frenzy with every piece of technology is included in this camera giving you 3D photos that can be played back on the 3D compatible computers or 3D Televisions. Lumix TS3 has still not been given a price tag yet but should expect to cost a pretty penny for what it does. Not a professional camera, but definitely better than your average camera that’s only purpose is to take high school girls pictures for Facebook all day.
